The History Of Lacy Stud
The Lacy prefix
originates from the village of Holme Lacy in Herefordshire, where Colin first
started to breed Welsh Mountain ponies, on his grandfathers farm.
Now
based in Bethel, North Wales we still continue to breed and produce ponies of
the highest calibre many of which are for sale annually with a strong base
of Coed Coch and Criban bloodlines to ensure type, action and
temperament.
Aswell as breeding our own ponies with the Lacy prefix who have gone
on to excel both in the show ring and the breeding paddocks for our own and
other studs worldwide we are also producers of Top Class Welsh Mountain Ponies
Section A and Welsh Ponies Section B from all over the world . Shown in hand
at National and International level we have enjoyed great success over
numerous years with all major championships won over the years from Lacy bred
and or produced ponies.
